We’re excited to share a glimpse into one of our projects: a new-build addiction treatment and rehabilitation centre.
We’ve provided structural and civil engineering expertise to bring this vision to life. The design places bedrooms and therapy spaces around a serene central courtyard garden, creating a tranquil environment that blends modern clinical functionality with the timeless feel of a college cloister. The structure features sustainable timber frames for a lightweight, eco-friendly approach, while screw piled foundations ensure the protection of the site’s mature trees.
In addition, the project incorporates a carefully planned sustainable drainage system (SuDS). Shallow swales channel and manage rainwater flow, controlling stormwater outflow into the adjacent river and enhancing the ecological balance of the site.
This project beautifully demonstrates how thoughtful engineering can harmonise with natural landscapes to create spaces that inspire and support recovery. This one is still in the planning stages, waiting to be brought to life!
