We are thrilled to showcase our latest collaboration with OB Architecture  on the Chamonix Spa Chalet, a contemporary reimagining of the traditional alpine retreat. Nestled above Chamonix near Les Moussoux, this two-story structure harmoniously integrates into the sloped terrain, featuring an undulating timber diagrid roof that not only defines its architectural expression but also serves as an efficient structural solution. 

Our team provided high-level structural analysis and optimisation, modelling the roof profile as a catenary arch to enhance load transfer and material efficiency. Through finite element analysis, we refined the design to ensure optimal performance and alignment with the architectural vision. This project exemplifies the fusion of innovative design and engineering, setting a new standard for modern alpine living.
